Job Summary

Setterlin Building Company is seeking a skilled Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Craftsman to support our field operations. This role is responsible for the erection and finishing of metal building systems, including structural steel, insulation, wall panels, roof panels, and interior liner systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and productivity.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Erect structural steel framing for pre-engineered metal buildings
  • Install insulation systems, exterior wall panels, roof panels, and liner panels
  • Perform metal rough framing and finish work with attention to detail
  • Install windows, door frames, and related hardware within PEMB structures
  • Operate forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and power tools as directed
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness
  • Always Follow Setterlin safety policies and OSHA regulations

 

Tools & Equipment

  • Associates are expected to provide their own hand tools, including (but not limited to):
    framing square, levels, tape measure, hand saws, snips, socket sets, drills, tool belt, and toolbox
  • Any issued fall protection or company-leased tools must remain on the jobsite

 

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required

 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in metal building construction preferred
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a crew
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and attendance
